Software to Speed Up Permission for Solar Rooftop in Tamil Nadu

Tamil Nadu Green Energy Corporation Ltd (TNGECL), which is taking all measures to promote Renewable Energy, particularly Rooftop Solar sector, will launch a software tool named as ‘Rooftop Solar Explorer,’ to speed up the promotion of solar Rooftop and to issue feasibility approval without delay.
The
software tool has been developed by utilizing data of consumers and the raw drone image of buildings of Chennai Corporation area by M/s CSTEP, on the basis of a tripartite MoU entered between M/s. Center for Study of Science, Technology and Policy (CSTEP), M/s. Asar Social Impact Advisors (Asar) and TNGECL (erstwhile TANGEDCO).
