Six Techies Swept Away in Sokuleru Stream, Andhra

Tragedy struck Chintur mandal in the district after six software employees from Hyderabad were swept away by the strong currents of the Sokuleru stream during a recreational trip. 

According to police, the six friends, who work as software professionals in Hyderabad, had gone to the Sokuleru stream for a picnic. They entered the stream to take a bath when the water flow suddenly



increased.

Unable to withstand the strong currents, they were swept away. Locals who witnessed the incident alerted Forest department officials. Forest personnel immediately rushed to the spot and launched rescue operations.

Five of the six friends were rescued safely, while one of them, identified as Kosturi Nilesh, remains missing. Search and rescue operations are underway to trace him.
