Chief Minister designate- D.K. Shivakumar, an ardent devotee of Sri Kadasiddeshwara Matha at Nonavinakere of Tiptur in Tumakuru district shares a strong bonding with this 12 century Matha for about two-decades to get his aspirations/ambitions fulfilled by divine forces. 

Matha?s administrative officer Shambu sources told Deccan Chronicle on Monday Shivakumar is scheduled to visit the math soon after taking oath as Chief Minister on Wednesday at 4.05 pm and the swearing-in ceremony will take place at Lok Bhavan premises in Bengaluru.

Explaining the bond shared by Shivakumar with the math, Shambu said Shivakumar came as a devotee and later he turned to an ardent devotee. The Administrative Officer stated ?Shivakumar attributed his success in his life to Sri Kadasiddeshwara Matha? and the AO recalled ?Shivakumar prayed for the good health of his father Kempegowda and his ailing father recovered and that incident brought Shivakumar closer to the Matha.?
