In Jharkhand, seven policemen have been killed and six others injured in a landmine blast triggered by the naxals near Kala Pahari village on Chatarpur Japla Road of Palamau district. Two of the six injured policemen are in critical condition.
The injured policemen were airlifted late last night



by a military helicopter to a hospital in Ranchi. Those martyred include one police Havaldar, one Chowkidar, four constables and the driver of the vehicle. Jharkhand police spokesman ADG SS Pradhan has said that the range DIG Saket Kumar Singh and SP Kanhya Mayur Patel have reached the spot.
