Seven Fishermen Rescued After Boat Hits Sand Dunes Near Antarvedi, AP

Seven fishermen were rescued after their boat collided with sand dunes near the Antarvedi sea confluence in Konaseema district on Tuesday. 

The incident occurred when the Sona boat, carrying the seven fishermen, hit the sand dunes, causing a hole in the



vessel. 

Another boat rushed to the spot to rescue them. However, the rescue boat also suffered damage and developed a hole due to strong currents. 

Local fishermen, along with Civil Marine Police personnel, launched a rescue operation and safely brought all seven fishermen to shore. No casualties were reported.
