Seven fishermen who went missing after venturing into the sea for fishing from Odalarevu have safely returned to the state.
The fishermen had ventured into the sea on August 3 and subsequently went missing.
With the support of the state government, officials from West Bengal reached Kakinada
and coordinated efforts to trace them.
After nearly 23 days, the fishermen were safely brought back to the West Bengal coast.
They have now returned to Kakinada safely. MLC Rajashekar welcomed the fishermen, while their family members expressed happiness over their safe return..
