A senior most journalist, Dasu Krishnamoorty, died this morning in New Jersey after a brief illness. He was 99 years old and six months short of completing 100 years.
He belonged to the first batch of the journalism course of Osmania University 1954-55.
He worked in The Indian Express, The
Times of India,. Patriot and was associate professor of The Institute of Mass Communication IIMC Delhi and on the guest faculty of OU, AP Open University, the University of Hyderabad. He moved to the US in 2001 to stay with his daughter.
The Osmania University alumni honoured him with the Life Time Achievement award in 2024.
