A mild earthquake of magnitude 3.7 struck Bangladesh on Saturday evening, with tremors being felt in parts of neighbouring India's Northeast region and West Bengal. According to the National Centre for Seismology (NCS), the earthquake occurred at
5:36 pm at a depth of 10 kilometres. The coordinates of the earthquake were recorded at latitude: 23.78 N, and longitude, the NCS added.
This comes after an earthquake struck the country on Friday, killing three people.
