Supreme Court has again refused to entertain a plea seeking cancellation of bail granted to Salman Khan by the Bombay High Court in the 2002 hit-and-run case.

A bench of justices FMI Kalifulla and Amitava Roy said the order of Bombay High Court does not require interference.

The petitioner alleged that the Bombay High Court did not grant the relief to Patil whose son Ravindra Patil, had died under mysterious circumstances.

Ravindra Patil was the police bodyguard of Khan and a key witness in the 2002 hit-and-run case. Besides seeking cancellation of Khan’s bail, the petitioner had sought a probe into Patil’s death.
