New Delhi, April 3: India's star female wrestler Sakshi Malik entered wedlock with grappler Satyawart Kadian in a grand ceremony on Sunday (April 2) in Rohtak.
The 24-year-old Olympic bronze medallist wrestler got married to her beau in traditional ceremony.
London Olympic silver medallist and champion wrestler Sushil Kumar attended the marriage ceremony.
She was engaged to Kadian, who is two-years younger to her in October last year. 
The 22-year-old Satyawart is also an international wrestler and has won silver at the 2014 Glasgow Commonwealth Games in 97kg Freestyle category and



also clinched a bronze at the Asian Championships, in the same year.
Sakshi became a nationwide sensation overnight after she bagged a bronze medal in wrestling 58kg Freestyle category at Rio Olympics 2016 and became first Indian female wrestler to win a medal at the biggest sports' carnival.
He too hails from a family of wrestlers and his father Satyawan also represented India at international events. His father also runs an akhada in Rohtak.
Former India cricketer Virender Sehwag and star India shuttler Saina Nehwal congratulated Sakshi on starting the second innings of her life.
