SAD Councilor Harjinder Singh Shot Dead in Amritsar

In Punjab, a Shiromani Akali Dal (SAD) councillor, Harjinder Singh has been shot dead in Amritsar by some unidentified assailants, yesterday.

According to Addl Commissioner of Police, Harpal Singh Randhawa, two motorcycle-borne persons had come and fired shots

at him. The councillor succumbed in the hospital.

Randhawa said that as per Harjinder Singh’s family, some persons came to his house earlier also and fired shots.

Further investigations are on.
