RSS, BJP want Manusmriti, not Constitution: Rahul Gandhi

Congress leader Rahul Gandhi has responded to RSS General Secretary's comments on removing 'secular' and 'socialist' from the Constitution's preamble.

Gandhi alleges that RSS-BJP wants to replace the Constitution with

Manusmriti, aiming to strip rights from marginalised groups. He vows that patriotic Indians will defend the Constitution.

The controversy stems from RSS remarks about removing words added during the Emergency era.
