Lucknow: In Uttar Pradesh,rescue operation is underway after a residential building collapsed on Wazir Hasan Road in Lucknow last evening.

Lucknow DM Surya Pal Gangwar said that 9 people have been rescued so far. No death has been confirmed by authorities in the incident.

Meanwhile, Lucknow commissioner Roshan Jacob has instructed Lucknow development authority to file an FIR against the builders who were involved in the construction of that building.

Around  5 to 7 people are still feared



trapped in the debris. Teams of NDRF and SDRF along with local administrations are conducting the rescue operation. DGP DS Chauhan said that It will take around 3 to 4 hours more to complete the rescue operation.

Deputy Chief Minister Brijesh Pathak visited the spot and said that few people who were trapped inside the debris were rescued and taken to the hospital. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has instructed officials to intensify the rescue work and provide every possible help to the injured.
