In Madhya Pradesh, reports of unnatural death of about 1,500 crows and wild birds have been received from 41 districts while Bird Flu has been confirmed in 18 districts so far. 

Animal Husbandry Minister of State Prem Singh Patel has said that according to the advisory issued by the Government of India, every effort is being made to prevent Bird Flu.
 
As per the instructions given by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi during



the video conferencing on Monday, water sources, bird sites and zoos are being constantly monitored in the state. Samples of birds in case of unusual death are being collected immediately for investigation. Bird Flu has been confirmed in 18 districts of the state.
 
Around 334 samples from various districts have been sent to the National High Security Disease Research Laboratory, Bhopal for investigation so far.
