Dehradun: Chief Minister of Uttarakhand Pushkar Singh Dhami has said that relief and rescue operations are going on in the disaster affected areas of Joshimath.

Talking to the media  in Dehradun he said the state government is doing whatever is required to deal with the situation. Shri Dhami said Prime



minister Narendra Modi himself is monitoring the entire relief and rescue operations.Eight major Institutes are engaged in the survey work in  Joshimath.

Meanwhile an amount of 3 crore 72 lakh rupees has been distributed as an advance relief aid to 301 affected families
