Reliance Jio launches JioPC that can turn TV into computer

Reliance Jio on Tuesday announced the launch of JioPC, a cloud-powered virtual desktop platform that transforms any screen into a personal computer using a Jio Set-Top Box (STB) with JioFiber or JioAirFiber connection.

The service, targeted at students, professionals, households, and small businesses, offers a pay-as-you-go pricing model, starting at just Rs 400 per month. The base subscription provides 8 GB RAM, 100 GB cloud storage, and access to AI-powered productivity and collaboration tools.

“JioPC is tailor-made for India’s evolving digital needs,” said the company in a statement, adding that the



cloud-first approach eliminates the need for maintenance or hardware upgrades. “Data remains secure even if the Set-Top Box is damaged or replaced,” it said.
