Rejected Trump's invitation to visit US for the land of Lord Jagannath: PM Modi

Prime Minister Modi, speaking at a rally in Odisha, disclosed that he declined an invitation from US President Donald Trump to visit Washington after the G7 summit in Canada.

Modi stated, 'I

humbly rejected the invite of President Trump to visit America so that I could come to the land of Lord Jagannath.' The Prime Minister emphasised his choice to visit Odisha over a potential stopover in the US capital.
