Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar Administers Oath to 5 New Members

Rajya Sabha Chairman Jagdeep Dhankhar yesterday administered oath to two elected and three nominated Members of the Upper House of Parliament. The two elected Members are Birendra Prasad Baishya of AGP and Kanad Purkayastha of BJP from

Assam.

The nominated Members are Dr Meenakshi Jain, C Sadanandan Master and Harsh Vardhan Shringla. The Rajya Sabha also paid tributes to seven of its former Members who passed away recently.
