Raj Kundra held as key conspirator in porn films case

Mumbai: In a sensational development, the Mumbai police on Monday evening arrested businessman Raj Kundra - the husband of Bollywood actor and model Shilpa Shetty, for allegedly making films with pornographic content and publishing them through mobile applications.

A British-Indian businessman, Kundra was being investigated by the Crime Branch-CID of Mumbai Police, on the basis of a case registered in February this



year.

Confirming Kundra's arrest, Mumbai Police commissioner Hemant Nagrale said:

"A case registered with Crime Branch about creation of pornographic films and publishing them through some Apps. We’ve arrested Raj Kundra in this case  as he appears to be the key conspirator".

"We have sufficient evidences regarding this. Investigation is in progress please," Nagrale added.
