Rahul Gandhi's "Bharat Jodo Yatra" is set to enter Madhya Pradesh on November 20 and this will mark the beginning of Congress's mass outreach program's journey in the Hindi heartland of the country.
According to Madhya Pradesh Congress sources, Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit two Jyotirlinga temples - Omkareshwar in Khandwa and Ujjain's Mahakaleshwar.
Congress' top brass, including party president Mallikarjun Kharge, held a meeting in the national capital on Monday to have a detailed review of Bharat Jodo Yatra. After the meeting, sources indicated that the party would
implement a new strategy as the yatra enters northern India.
"Rahul Gandhi and other senior leaders will visit Omkareshwar Mahadev temple on Nov 25," sources close to Congress top brass told India Today. Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit the birthplace of Tantia Mama, who is also known as the Robinhood of India, in Khandwa district of Madhya Pradesh.
A senior leader from MP Congress said, "Apart from visiting Omkareshwar Mahadev in Khandwa, Rahul Gandhi is scheduled to visit Badoda Village of Pandhana tehsil in Khandwa, which is the birthplace of Tantia Mama in Nimad on Nov 25."
