The Congress on Tuesday marched towards Prime Minister Narendra Modi's residence at 7, Lok Kalyan Marg to protest the alleged examination paper leaks, including the NEET controversy.

As Delhi Police stopped the march, Rahul Gandhi resisted being removed and briefly lay down on the road while officers attempted to clear the protest site. The dramatic moment quickly became one of the defining visuals of the demonstration.

The protest was led by Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge and Priyanka Gandhi. The Congress also raised the issue of police action against students during the Cockroach Janta Party-led march to Parliament a day earlier.

Heavy security was deployed outside the Prime Minister's residence as police

prevented Congress leaders and workers from marching towards 7, Lok Kalyan Marg. The commotion continued as officers tried to disperse the protesters.

Rahul Gandhi was later detained along with several Congress MPs and party leaders after police stopped the march. Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav was also detained during the demonstration.

Visuals from the protest later showed Rahul Gandhi and several Congress leaders inside a police bus after they were detained and removed from the protest site near the Prime Minister's residence.

Following his detention, Rahul Gandhi was taken to Model Town Police Station, located away from central Delhi. Several Congress MPs and party leaders were also taken into custody.
