The post-mortem of 25-year-old former state-level tennis player Radhika Yadav, who was allegedly shot dead by her father, has revealed that four bullets were found in her body. The report confirmed that all four bullets were fired from behind.

Radhika was living with her parents in Gurugram. On July 10, she was shot dead by her father Deepak using his licensed revolver. Based on a complaint filed by the victim’s uncle, who is also the accused’s brother, an FIR was registered at Sector 56 police station under relevant



sections.

The police arrested the accused and recovered the licensed revolver used in the crime along with five empty cartridges from the scene.

On July 11, the police got the post-mortem conducted. According to the findings, four bullets were recovered from the body, and it was confirmed that the shots were fired from behind.

The accused was produced before the court the same day and has been remanded to one-day police custody. Police said they are interrogating the accused and further investigation is underway.
