Punjab Governor stresses significance of civil defence training

Punjab Governor and Administrator of Chandigarh, Gulab Chand Kataria, has stressed the significance of civil defence training and said tight vigil must be maintained, which is the need of the hour. In an all-party meeting last evening, he emphasised the need for not letting the guard down and said that such challenges need to be faced



boldly. 

Earlier, in an inter-faith meeting with representatives from all the religions, he asked for unity amongst all sections of the society and to stand united behind our brave armed forces. Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann said that being a border state, Punjab will continue to prepare to meet any sort of exigency.
