Prof Asim Kumar Ghosh takes oath as 19th Governor of Haryana

Professor Ashim Kumar Ghosh yesterday took oath as the 19th Governor of Haryana. He succeeds Bandaru Dattatraya. A distinguished academician, Mr Ghosh was administered the oath of office by Punjab and Haryana High Court Chief Justice Sheel Nagu in a ceremony at the Haryana Raj Bhavan in Chandigarh.

A political scientist by training and a former professor at a Shri Shikshayatan College in Kolkata, Ashim Kumar Ghoshosh had long been seen as a cerebral presence in BJP.
