President Ram Nath Kovind praises NDA cadets for their role in peace of nation

President Ram Nath Kovind has praised the National Defence Academy, NDA, cadets for their role in peace and prosperity of the nation. He said the cadets have become role models for youth. The President was addressing NDA cadets in Pune after reviewing the Passing out Parade of the 134th batch of the Academy today.

Cadet Akshat Raj was honoured with Presidents Gold Medal on



the occasion. Cadet Sohail Islam received silver and cadet Ahmad Chaudhari a bronze medal.

Army helicopters and a squadron of Sukhoi fighter jets gave Air salute. Navy Chief Admiral Sunil Lanba, Chief of Southern Command, Lieutenant General, B R Soni and NDA Commandant Air Marshal I P Vipin were present on the occasion.
