President, PM Extend Greetings On Jharkhand State’s Foundation Day

President Droupadi Murmu, Prime Minister Narendra Modi, and Home Minister Amit Shah extended greetings to the people of Jharkhand on the state’s foundation day today. 

In a social media post, President Murmu said that the talented and hardworking people of the land of Bhagwan Birsa Munda have enhanced the pride of the state and the entire country. She added that this state, rich in natural resources, has continued to make significant contributions to the nation’s



development.

The President said that the rich folk arts of the tribal communities here enjoy prestige both in India and abroad, and the brave warriors of this land have set unparalleled examples of service to Mother India. 

In a social media post, Mr Modi said, the land of Bhagwan Birsa Munda, enriched with tribal culture, has a history filled with tales of courage, struggle, and self-respect. He wished for the continued progress and prosperity of the state and all its people.
