President Murmu confers AVSM on Lt Gen Neeraj Varshney

President of India Droupadi Murmu conferred the Ati Vishisht Seva Medal (AVSM) upon Lt Gen Neeraj Vashney, VSM, Commandant, Military College of Electronics & Mechanical Engineering (MCEME) & Colonel Commandant, Corps of EME.

The medal was conferred during the Defence Investiture Ceremony



Phase-II at Rashtrapati Bhavan on June 29, according to a press release issued here on Tuesday.

The award is a testament to Gen Varshney’s exceptional leadership, distinguished service and unwavering commitment to the Nation as well as a proud moment for MCEME & Corps of EME, the press release added.
