Police arrests two more accused in connection with Lakhimpur violence

Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh Police on Wednesday arrested two more accused in connection with the Lakhimpur violence which claimed eight lives on 3rd of October. On the other hand, a local court denied bail to the main accused Ashish Mishra.

Two persons Ankit Das and Latif alias Kale, yesterday appeared before the Special Investigation Team which



took them in custody after questioning and produced in court which sent them in Judicial Custody Remand for 14 days. The court remanded Latif for three days in Police Custody also. A total of six persons including Ashish Mishra, Luvkush, Ashish Pandey, Bharti, Ankit and Kale have been arrested by the Police so far in this case.
