The audience is reacting with pleasant surprise to a couple of unexpected on-screen moments in Dhurandhar: The Revenge. The sequences pertain to Prime Minister Narendra Modi, who is visible in two scenes of the Aditya Dhar film. The Prime Minister's inclusion in the film's storyline has quickly become one of the most talked-about highlights of the film.

The sequel shows excerpts of PM Modi's speeches from two moments of modern Indian history, both in televised format. The first is his 2014 oath-taking ceremony as Prime Minister and the second is from his 2016 demonetisation address.

Reports coming in from all over indicate that the reaction has been nothing

short of hysterical in the theatres each time PM Modi appears on the screen. Clips have also surfaced on social media, capturing the crowd response in theatres.

In several videos, the audience is seen cheering, whistling and chanting slogans as Modi appears on-screen. “As soon as Modi ji makes his entry in Dhurandhar, the entire theatre erupts whistles, claps, hooting everywhere. That moment says it all his popularity isn’t just real, it’s unstoppable (sic)," one user wrote on X. Another agreed, saying, "Fully agree! Huge claps yesterday (sic)."

However, some social media users questioned the inclusion of demonetisation references.
