Prime Minister Narendra Modi met Myanmar President U Min Aung Hlaing on Monday at Hyderabad House in the national capital. 

President Min Aung Hlaing is on a visit to India from May 30 to June 2 at the invitation of Prime Minister Modi. 

This is Min Aung Hlaing's first visit to India in his current capacity as President. He is accompanied by a high-level delegation comprising Cabinet ministers, senior officials, and



business leaders.

Earlier on Sunday, National Security Advisor Ajit Doval called on the Myanmar President. Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said in a post on X, "NSA Shri Ajit Doval called on President U Min Aung Hlaing of Myanmar today." 

External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar had also met the Myanmar President on Saturday and appreciated his positive approach towards strengthening bilateral ties.
