Prime Minister Narendra Modi lauded Maharashtra's efforts in the fight against COVID-19. During the telephonic conversation with Chief Minister Uddhav Thackeray, the Prime Minister said that Maharashtra is fighting a good battle against the second wave of Coronavirus.
The Chief Minister requested more oxygen for the state of Maharashtra. He  also informed the Prime Minister about the plans to face the third wave of COVID-19 and thanked him for accepting some suggestions from Maharashtra.
