PM Modi to visit Panaji on 11th December

New Delhi; Union Minister of Ayush Shri Sarbananda Sonowal yesterday announced that three National Ayush Institutes - All India Institute of Ayurveda (AIIA), Goa, National Institute of Unani Medicine (NIUM), Ghaziabad and National Institute of Homoeopathy (NIH), Delhi will be dedicated to the nation by Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi on the 11th of December 2022 at Panaji in Goa.

The four-day 9th World Ayurveda Congress (WAC)  will commence on the 8th of December with the participation of around five thousand delegates. More than 200 foreign delegates from 30 countries will also attend the



event.

There will be 150 invited keynote speakers from 35 countries and 600 overseas Ayurveda stakeholders. The Prime Minister will also attend the valedictory function of WAC on the 11th of December in Goa.

The establishment of these three National Ayush institutes in Ayurveda, Homeopathy, and Unani will create 400 additional seats for 400 students, who want to pursue Under Graduate, Post Graduate, and Doctoral courses. 550 additional beds will also be added in these three streams. Besides this event, the Prime Minister will also inaugurate Mopa International Airport in Goa on the 11th of December.
