Prime Minister Narendra Modi will launch multiple development projects worth over 96 thousand crore rupees in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh today.
In Bihar, Mr Modi will inaugurate, lay the foundation stone and dedicate to the nation multiple development projects worth over 48,520 crore rupees at Bikramganj in Rohtas district this morning.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate and dedicate several road and rail connectivity projects for Bihar. The Prime Minister will inaugurate the Four-Lane Patna-Gaya-Dobhi section of NH-22, which is a project worth around 55 hundred crore rupees, and a part of the Four-Lane elevated highway in Gopalganj Town on NH-27 worth over 249 crore rupees.
The Patna Gaya Dobhi highway will improve connectivity between the Capital city Patna and to Heritage City Gaya in Bihar. The Prime Minister will dedicate to the nation the third Rail Line between Son Nagar-Mohammad Ganj, a project valued at over 1,330 crore rupees. He will also address a public meeting at Bikramganj. This will be the first public meeting of the Prime Minister after Operation Sindoor.
In Uttar Pradesh, the Prime Minister will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of multiple development projects worth 47,600 crore rupees in Kanpur this afternoon. These projects are aimed at boosting the region’s infrastructure
and connectivity. Mr Modi will also address a public meeting at the Chandra Shekhar Azad University of Agriculture and Technology ground.
During his visit to Kanpur, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the Kanpur Metro Rail Project’s Chunniganj Metro Station to Kanpur Central Metro Station section today, costing more than Rs 2,120 crore. Apart from this, the Prime Minister will inaugurate the 660 MW Panki Thermal Power Extension Project costing more than Rs 8,300 crore, which will increase the energy capacity of Uttar Pradesh. The Prime Minister will also inaugurate three 660 megawatt units of the Ghatampur Thermal Power Project costing more than Rs 9,330 crore, which will significantly increase the power supply.
Apart from this, the projects that Mr Modi will inaugurate include a 40 MLD capacity treatment plant at Bingawan, 220 and 132 kV substations in Gautam Buddha Nagar, smart infrastructure in Kanpur and surrounding areas, traffic improvement and other projects related to urban services.
During the program, the Prime Minister will also give certificates and cheques to the beneficiaries of Ayushman Vay Vandana Yojana, Rashtriya Ajeevika Mission and Surya Ghar: Muft Bijli Yojana. High security arrangements have been made in the city for the Prime Minister’s visit.
