New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will visit Varanasi today. He will inaugurate and lay the foundation stone of various development projects worth over 1,500 crore rupees. Mr Modi will inaugurate a 100-bed MCH wing in BHU, multi-level parking at Godauliya, Ro-Ro Vessels for tourism development on River Ganga and three lane flyover bridge on the Varanasi-Ghazipur Highway. 

Prime Minister will also lay the foundation stones of several projects and public works worth around 839 crore rupees. These include the Centre for Skill and Technical Support of Central Institute of Petrochemical Engineering and Technology (CIPET), 143 rural projects under Jal Jeevan Mission and mango and vegetable integrated pack house in Karkhiyaon.
 
Varanasi will get a new landmark. Prime Minister will inaugurate the International Cooperation and Convention Centre - Rudrakash, which has been constructed with Japanese



assistance. Later, he will inspect the Maternal and Child Health Wing, BHU. He will also meet with officials and medical professionals to review COVID preparedness.

People are eagerly waiting for their parliamentarian and Prime Minister Narendra Modi at the temple city Kashi. All preparations for PM's visit have been put in place. Elaborate security arrangements have been made all around. Roads, Lanes and buildings are richly decorated. 

Places are flattened with posters, banners and hoardings welcoming Prime Minister Sri Modi. The decoration and lighting at Rudraksh-The International Convention Centre is amazing. This building has been constructed with the assistance of Japan. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has already visited Varanasi and took stock of preparedness there. He has instructed to follow all norms of Covid 19 protocols during the programme of Prime Minister.
