PM Modi to address the post-Budget Webinar on Infrastructure & Investment

New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address the post-Budget Webinar on ‘Infrastructure and Investment - Improving Logistics Efficiency with PM Gati Shakti National Master Plan’ on 4th March, 2023, Saturday through video conferencing.

 

Government is continuously increasing budgetary allocation for the development of world-class infrastructure. This year's Budget is a reflection of this vision. Significant budgetary allocation for capital expenditure has been earmarked for infrastructure development.

 

Road



Transport and Highways and Railways are the key target areas. Budgetary allocation for Road Transport and Highways has increased by 25 per cent to two lakh 70 thousand crore rupees. For Railways, the budgetary allocation is two lakh 40 thousand crore.

 

Besides Ministers and Secretaries of the concerned Central Government Ministries, a host of stakeholders from States, industry and investment groups would attend the webinar. They will provide suggestions for better implementation of the budgetary announcements.
