Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday congratulated newly elected Thiruvananthapuram Corporation Mayor VV Rajesh and Deputy Mayor GS Asha Nath following the BJP’s historic victory in the local body elections.
In a letter shared by VV Rajesh on social media, the Prime Minister
described the BJP’s victory as an end to the “fixed match” between the CPI(M)-led Left Democratic Front (LDF) and the Congress-led United Democratic Front (UDF).
