PM Modi greets nation on Republic Day

Prime Minister Naredra Modi has greeted the nation on the occasion of Republic Day. In a tweet, Mr Modi extended his best wishes to everyone on the occasion. Vice President Hamid Ansari has also conveyed his warm greetings and best wishes to the citizens of the country.

In a message, he said that people should reaffirm commitment towards the Constitution and founding principles of the Republic and re validate faith in the ideals of liberty,



equality, fraternity and justice for all.

In her message, Congress President Sonia Gandhi said Indian Republic's intrinsic strength lies in country's Constitutional values. She said people should reinforce commitment to protection, preservation and practice of these Constitutional ideals that comprise India's true spirit and struggle against inequality and injustice.
