New Delhi: Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Japan Kishida Fumio on Monday visited the Buddha Jayanti Park in New Delhi. In a special gesture, Mr Modi gifted a sapling of Bal Bodhi tree to his Japanese



counterpart. 

Both the leaders also enjoyed Indian snacks including Golgappas. In a tweet, Mr Modi said that one of the aspects which connects India and Japan is the teachings of Lord Buddha.
