PM assures no outsiders will be able to settle in Assam

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has assured the people of Assam and other North-Eastern states that no outsiders would be able to settle in this region due to the Citizenship

Amendment Act.

Mr. Modi said that rumors are being spread that outsiders would be settled in this part through CAA.
