PhonePe To Charge Users of Dormant Wallets

Users of fintech company PhonePe are peeved over a new message which conveyed charges would be collected from accounts of dormant PhonePe wallets. The message kicked up a debate on several social media platforms. 

Many users are wondering if parking money in the wallet was really a crime. PhonePe is sending messages about



imposing charges on inactive wallets. The message said that Rs 100 would be collected every 3 months. 

The company says that it had informed about the charges in its terms and conditions but users said that the Terms and Conditions did not mention about how much charge would be collected from the dormant wallets.
