Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan underwent surgery at Kokilaben Dhirubhai Ambani Hospital in Mumbai on Saturday morning. He was admitted to the hospital on Friday.
According to an official statement, Pawan Kalyan had sustained significant damage to the rotator cuff and muscles in both shoulders. Following medical examinations, doctors advised him on Monday to undergo surgery at the
earliest.
However, Pawan Kalyan informed the doctors that he would undergo the procedure only after completing his scheduled official commitments. He subsequently underwent the surgery in Mumbai on Saturday.
Doctors said that performing surgery on both shoulders at the same time would result in severe pain during recovery. Therefore, the surgery was carried out only on the rotator cuff injury in his right shoulder.
