Andhra Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Pawan Kalyan expressed concern over the death of a tiger in the Racherla Beat under the Giddalur Division of the Nagarjunasagar-Srisailam Tiger Reserve (NSTR), stressing that tiger conservation is vital to maintaining ecological balance.

In a post on X, Pawan Kalyan said he had directed the NSTR Field Director to conduct a comprehensive and transparent investigation into the

circumstances surrounding the tiger's death.

He said a thorough inquiry should be carried out to determine whether the tiger died of natural causes or if any human intervention, such as poaching or poisoning, was involved.

He further directed officials to conduct the post-mortem examination and forensic analysis in accordance with wildlife conservation protocols to ascertain the exact cause of death.
