In Jammu and Kashmir, Pakistani troops again resorted to firing and shelling in Arnia sector along the International Border in Jammu district last night. BSF sources told that Pakistani troops started firing and shelling targeting Indian positions and civilian areas in Arnia sector around 9 PM.

This prompted Border

Security Force (BSF) personnel to retaliate effectively. Intermittent exchange of fire at some places continued this morning. However, there is no report of any casualty or injury to the Indian side.

It is for the third consecutive night when Pakistan's Rangers have been pounding the Arnia sector with heavy mortar shelling.
