Pakistan violates ceasefire along LoC in Poonch

Pakistan on Friday targeted Indian posts along the Line of Control (LoC) in Malti sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district, yet again, officials said.

According to reports, Pakistan began firing at Indian posts near the Line of Control (LoC) early morning which was retaliated by the Indian Army.However, no damage has been reported in the



firing so far.

The fresh ceasefire violation comes just days after 500 people were forced to abandon their homes in the state’s Uri sector and migrate elsewhere.

The Pakistani Army has been violating the bilateral ceasefire agreement on the LoC with impunity since the beginning of 2018.
