Pakistan resorts to heavy shelling in J&K

Pakistan's forces again resorted to heavy shelling and firing along the Line-of-Control in Jammu, Rajouri and Poonch districts last night. According to Defence sources Pakistani troops started unprovoked firing in Pallanwal, Manjakote and Balkote sectors targeting border



posts and civilian areas last evening.

Indian Army, guarding the borderline, retaliated and gave a befitting reply to Pakistani shelling. Exchange of fire continued till midnight. However, there is no report of any casualty or injury to the Indian side.
