A school has been shut for two days after a flu outbreak in Bengaluru’s Richards Town, with over 500 students and 21 staff showing symptoms of fever, cold, cough and body aches.
According to local reports, 2 cases of H1N1 have been confirmed among the students who have fallen sick.

authorities allege unhygienic conditions persisting due to accumulated waste from local street food stalls and other vendors surrounding the stalls have caused the outbreak.
School authorities said that they have repeatedly raised the issue to civic body officials, and any action is yet to be taken to ensure hygienic conditions around the school.
