Opposition MPs, including Rahul Gandhi, Mallikarjun Kharge, Priyanka Gandhi Vadra and other INDIA bloc leaders, marched from the Gandhi statue at Prerna Sthal to Makar Dwar within the Parliament complex on Wednesday.
They protested against Union Home Minister Amit Shah over the alleged police action against CJP protesters on July 20, the alleged embezzlement of Ayodhya Ram Temple donations, and other issues, ahead of the day's proceedings.

Bill, 2026 and The Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, 2026 for consideration and passing, according to the revised List of Business.
Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will move the Bankers' Books Evidence Bill, which seeks to modernise laws relating to evidence from bankers' books and align them with contemporary digital banking practices. She will also move the Taxation and Other Laws (Amendment) Bill, proposing changes to the Payment and Settlement Systems Act, 2007, the Income-tax Act, 2025, and the Finance Act, 2026.
