In West Bengal, a Trinamool Congress leader was killed in a crude bomb attack by unidentified assailants in South 24 Parganas district late last night. Police said, 75-year old Haji Abdul Jehel Mollah, the

Anchal Sabhapati, was returning home from an election meeting when crude bombs were hurled at him by unidentified persons at Kakdwip. Mollah died on the spot, while the assailants escaped the place. TMC has accused CPI(M) workers of being behind the murder, but the rival party claimed it was due to a factional dispute within the ruling party.
