One terrorist killed in encounter with security forces in J&K's Shopian

Srinagar: In Jammu and Kashmir, one terrorist was killed in an encounter with security forces in Turkwangam area of Shopian district in wee hours today.

The gunfight erupted after a joint team of security forces were fired upon by



terrorists who had laid a Cordon-and-Search Operation (CASO) in the area. The identity of the slain terrorist is being ascertained.

The operation in the area was underway when reports last came in.
