One Dead and 17 Injured in Eluru Bus-Lorry Collision

The accident took place when the bus reportedly rammed into the parked lorry. The injured were shifted to a Chintalapudi Government hospital for treatment. The bus cleaner died on the



spot. 

The bus was en route from Hyderabad to Vizianagaram. According to the reports, 5 others were shifted to the Sathupalli Government hospital. 

Most of the passengers are IT employees travelling to their native places for the long weekend and Ganesh Chaturthi festival. Police reached the spot and took up an investigation into the incident. Further details are awaited.
